I raise 1,000 acres of soybeans. Currently 50 percent of my production is the Vistive® program. On our farm we’ve always tried to stay at 50/50 rotation. Therefore soybeans have always been important to us. When the Vistive program came out, it sounded appealing, and the more I looked into it, I felt like it would fit with us. My Vistive soybeans did very well for us this year. The two varieties averaged in the mid 60s. We’re very pleased with that compared to other varieties. They held up and exceeded other varieties that we used this year. The premium on the Vistive beans is very nice. It’s very easy to obtain it. It’s nothing more than taking good care of the commodity that you raise. Anytime you can get a little extra money in what you’re doing is very nice. The Vistive soybean program, I think many should take a look at it. I think it will work well for people and has turned out very well for myself. Without a doubt, I will increase my acreage on my Vistive soybean program. And I’ve just been very pleased- no doubt in my mind that’s what I’d like to do.”
